On Tuesday 21st April a group of 13 Spanish students from our twin school ‘Nuestra Señora de los Desamparados’ in Ibi will be arriving at Durham Tees Valley airport to begin their week long stay with host pupils in Y10.
The group will be welcomed by the Mayor and will have a chance to visit Durham, York and Beamish before returning to Spain.
The Y10 hosts and their visitors will keep us updated with comments on the blog during the visit.
On Sunday March 1st 45 Y7 students set off for France accompanied by Miss Cutts, Mr Hersey, Miss O’Brien and Miss Andrew. The group stayed the week in Arques la Bataille and visited Dieppe, Paris, Boulogne and Rouen.
It was a fantastic opportunity for the pupils to practise their French and learn more about the language and culture of France.
