spanish-flag2On Tuesday 21st April a group of 13 Spanish students from our twin school ‘Nuestra Señora de los Desamparados’ in Ibi will be arriving at Durham Tees Valley airport to begin their week long stay with host pupils in Y10.

The group will be welcomed by the Mayor and will have a chance to visit Durham, York and Beamish before returning to Spain.

this was an absolute experience of a life time and i am sure other people that went to spain and had an exchange student will agree with me that the spaniards are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. I made a friendship with all students some in particular that i will never ever forget. If you ever get an opportunity like this to either host a student or go out just go for it no matter how unsure you feel. However i think that its the group of people that make it and I hope that we get the chance to go again xx
